Refined doctrine
Information does not travel instantaneously. Telescope observations, satellite transmissions and probe data remain limited by the speed of light, bandwidth and signal delay. AI can nevertheless analyse information from distant instruments far faster than a person could inspect it manually.
Rovers, probes, telescopes and orbital systems extend intelligence into environments that are dangerous or inaccessible to people. AI can schedule observations, identify unusual patterns, compress transmissions and support navigation while human teams retain responsibility for mission goals and consequential decisions.
Simulation tests possible atmospheres, orbital paths, equipment designs and mission scenarios before deployment. A model does not replace observation. It organises a hypothesis, reveals assumptions and shows which measurements could improve understanding.
