Purpose
A model that treats emotions as distinct signals and uses awareness, evidence and choice to conduct their expression.
Refined doctrine
Love builds connection. Anger signals that a value, need or boundary may require attention. Fear warns of possible danger. Joy reinforces meaning. Sadness responds to loss and can deepen reflection. Excitement points toward possibility.
No emotion proves that its first interpretation is correct. Anger can arise from injustice or misunderstanding. Fear can identify danger or overestimate it. Excitement can reveal opportunity or obscure risk. Wisdom tests the signal against evidence, values and consequences.
Balance does not mean equal intensity. It means that emotion remains connected to reality and does not remove choice. Inner harmony is a practice of correction in which thoughts, feelings, values and actions become more coherent.
Operating principles
- Recognise the emotion before deciding what it means.
- Check the signal against facts and context.
- Choose an expression proportionate to the situation.
- Seek qualified support when emotions become unsafe or persistently disruptive.
Identify the emotion, its intensity, the activating event and the response most likely to protect dignity.Feel fully and choose deliberately.
